The Divine does not need us to do Her Work. She is quite capable of creating Her own instruments for the manifestation. But then such a manifestation will be limited in its accessibility and would mean nothing to the evolutionary creatures like us. We can put it somewhat like this that if an infant was suddenly placed in the midst of a grand opera where top musicians are playing a rare celestial music. The infant will either be overwhelmed and grow restless or else just sleep off. To really enjoy the grand orchestra it must grow up. So too with this world. It is born out of delight, is sustained and nourished by delight, it seeks for delight and will one day culminate in the fullness of delight. But to take the full share of the delight each unit must grow into the WHOLENESS of the Divine. This growth, like all progress is sometimes difficult and challenging. But once we understand that we are here for progress then we start enjoying the journey. However if we seek pleasure then pain follows as a reminder of our imperfect joy.

It is best to avoid them. If you feel it will create social pressure then it will be good to engage in some useful activities to keep yourself busy and tell them the same if they ask. Instead of wasting time in such an atmosphere spend time with good books, exploring places and learning new things.

Alright. Will do so. Essentially higher nature is the Divine Nature that operates on the basis of Unity and Oneness in every field and activity. The lower nature acts on the basis of division with all the attendant consequences. Will surely make a video on this important subject.

The Mother in the talk refers to 'Mirra Alfassa', who is also known as the spiritual collaborator of Sri Aurobindo. Born in France on the 21st February 1978, she displayed occult and spiritual capacities very early during her childhood. These inborn capacities developed as she grew leading to several experiences culminating in her meeting with Sri Aurobindo on the 29th March 1914. By then she was already an adept in the Buddhist Yoga and had realised the Yoga of the Gita as well as the Rajayoga as described by Rishi Patanjali having read a book on the same by Swami Vivekananda. Before coming to Pondicherry she had the full experience of the Kundalini awakening, union with the Inner Divine immanent in Creation as well as a deep and profound mastery of the occult worlds and their forces. From an early age she was coming in contact with various spiritual beings among whom one stood prominent and with whom she had a permanent contact. She called him Krishna. When she came to Pondicherry she instantly recognised the Krishna of her visions in Sri Aurobindo and knew that her work lay here with him. Both had arrived at the same fundamental realisations and had the same goal of transforming our earthly life. Hencd their coming together and collaborating in the Divine Mission was clearly predestined so to say. Sri Aurobindo addressed her as the Mother because he saw her to be the incarnation of the Divine Mother.
